About Qualcomm Off Campus Drive 2026
Qualcomm is hiring fresh graduates and early-career engineers for the role of Engineer / Associate Engineer – AI Platform. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Backend Development, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Enterprise AI Platforms.
The Enterprise AI team at Qualcomm develops next-generation AI solutions that improve engineering productivity through intelligent automation, AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), developer tools, and scalable AI infrastructure. Selected candidates will work with modern AI technologies while building enterprise-grade software solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop scalable AI-powered enterprise applications.
- Design and build backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Create AI agents and intelligent automation workflows.
- Build applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Work on AI model deployment and inference pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve real-world business problems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient production-quality code.
- Design REST APIs and distributed backend systems.
- Participate in software testing, debugging, and code reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance (CGPA/GPA of 8.5+ preferred).
- 0–1 year of experience; exceptional fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Good understanding of Operating Systems, Computer Networks, DBMS, and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Strong coding and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of backend software engineering principles.
- Passion for Artificial Intelligence and software development.
Required Technical Skills
- Programming Languages: Python, Java (Preferred), C++, or similar languages.
- Backend Development: REST APIs, FastAPI, Flask, Microservices, Distributed Systems, Software Design.
- Databases: SQL, NoSQL, Data Modeling, Vector Databases.
- Data Engineering: ETL Pipelines, Data Processing, Data Management.
- Artificial Intelligence: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI.
- Large Language Models (LLMs): Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, RAG, AI Agents, Embeddings, Model Orchestration Frameworks.
- Cloud & DevOps (Preferred): Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Software Engineering: Debugging, Testing, Version Control (Git), System Design Fundamentals.
