Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based banking applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient Java code.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing application issues.
- Work with relational databases and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development and testing teams.
- Follow coding standards, security practices, and compliance guidelines.
- Support project delivery by completing assigned development tasks on time.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of Core Java programming.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Understanding of Java Collections and Exception Handling.
- Basic knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
- Understanding of REST APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with Git or any version control system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of banking concepts such as Accounts, Payments, Loans, and Transactions.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodology.
- Internship or academic project experience in Java development.
- Basic understanding of software testing and debugging.
