Harman is hiring freshers for the role of Associate Engineer - AI/ML with Python in Bangalore. HARMAN Automotive is a global technology company working on next-generation automotive solutions including AI-powered systems, infotainment platforms, autonomous technologies, and cloud-native applications. This opportunity is ideal for candidates passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Python development, and cloud technologies.
Candidates will get the opportunity to work on Agentic AI workflows, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), backend APIs, machine learning models, and scalable cloud applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop Agentic AI workflows using LLMs, planners, tools, and memory components.
- Build and integrate LLM-powered applications using LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Django, Flask, FastAPI, Robyn Framework, or Vert.x.
- Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and embeddings.
- Work on Machine Learning model development, feature engineering, and data preprocessing.
- Develop and maintain web applications and microservices with secure authentication using OAuth and JWT.
- Use Celery tasks for asynchronous processing and AI workloads.
- Work with databases and search systems such as MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and ScyllaDB.
- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments on Kubernetes.
- Assist in model training, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud deployments.
- Collaborate with agile teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or final-year student in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
- 0 to 1 year of experience or strong academic/project exposure in AI, ML, or Software Development.
- Strong programming knowledge in Python is mandatory.
- Knowledge of GoLang, Java, SQL, or JavaScript will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern web application architecture.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and ML algorithms.
- Hands-on exposure to TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Basic understanding of NLP, Transformers, and Large Language Models like OpenAI and LLaMA.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and SQLAlchemy.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and deployment concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on projects using Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Knowledge of RAG architectures and vector databases.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Kibana.
- Familiarity with AWS services for application deployment.
- Internship or academic project experience in AI/ML or Full-Stack Development.
- Open-source contributions or personal GitHub projects.
