GlobalLogic is hiring freshers for the role of Associate Software Engineer in Bangalore. Candidates with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of web technologies can apply for this opportunity. Selected candidates will work on web content analysis, URL evaluation, SEO optimization, regex-based filtering, and content quality management while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze crawl URLs and evaluate their relevance based on user value and web quality standards.
- Review website content and URL structures to identify optimization opportunities.
- Determine whether URLs contribute meaningful value to search and user experience.
- Document findings with clear and detailed justifications.
- Utilize Regular Expressions (Regex) to identify and curate irrelevant or low-value URLs.
- Create and maintain regex-based rules for efficient content filtering and URL classification.
- Deliver assigned project tasks within timelines while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project guidelines.
- Participate in quality reviews and continuously improve output standards.
- Identify and resolve project-related issues and bugs based on business priorities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through collaboration channels.
- Conduct keyword research aligned with client business objectives.
- Support content enhancement initiatives through analysis and insights.
- Maintain process documentation, best practices, and knowledge repositories.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Regular Expressions (Regex), HTML, and CSS.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Logical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and interpret website content and URL structures.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Team player with excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication abilities.
Good To Have Skills
- Understanding of SEO concepts such as indexing, ranking, metadata, and keyword analysis.
- Familiarity with web crawling concepts and crawler behavior.
- Basic understanding of BFS and DFS algorithms.
- Experience using website analysis tools and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of content evaluation and web data quality standards.
