About Calix Recruitment 2026
Calix is hiring fresh graduates for the position of Graduate Trainee at its Bangalore location. This opportunity is ideal for candidates graduating in 2025 or 2026 who are interested in DevOps, Cloud Computing, CI/CD, Automation, Containers, and modern software delivery practices. Selected candidates will work with industry-leading technologies such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Nexus, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence while gaining hands-on experience in cloud-based microservices environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in configuring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based microservices.
- Support branch management, code promotions, and release workflows under guidance.
- Contribute to automation of build and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo.
- Gain hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Work with artifact repositories such as Artifactory and Nexus to manage and version build artifacts.
- Document workflows, troubleshooting procedures, and create internal technical guides and FAQs.
- Collaborate with team members to understand and implement CI/CD best practices.
- Use Atlassian tools including Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence for issue tracking and source control.
- Participate in AI-driven initiatives including predictive build failure detection and automated pipeline optimization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across software delivery and deployment processes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Graduating batch: 2025 or 2026.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting, PHP, or equivalent scripting technologies.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, databases, and data structures.
- Exposure to programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Basic understanding of REST APIs.
- Knowledge of YAML configurations.
- Interest in AI/ML applications for DevOps and software automation.
